About us
Our Story
No billionaires, no tech bros, no cynics, no freaks or transhumanists – we are parents, entrepreneurs, employees, programmers, designers, media experts, and media consumers.
We are a group of people from the middle of society who could no longer stand by and watch social media fall into the hands of American and Chinese tech companies that threaten our democracy.
Anyone who uses social media today knows that the term is basically no longer accurate, because it is not social: populism and disinformation, cybergrooming, cyberbullying and cyberstalking, fake news, fake ideals, addictive algorithms that reinforce extremes – and real exchanges with real people are often sought in vain, because more than 50% of users are not real people, but bots.
Everyone talks about how Europe needs an independent and secure social network, especially for young people, but no one is doing anything about it.
To escape this feeling of helplessness, we simply got started. Now we are founding a social network and want to do it better.
To do this, we need your support. We are looking for reach, contacts, tips, fellow campaigners, and, last but not least, money to scale up.

Andreas Hacker
CTO and full-stack developer, Tyrolean with a degree from England and Berlin as his adopted home. With 16 years of industry experience (including Porsche and Bundesdruckerei), he is always on the lookout for the next disruption.
Dr. Nele Meissner
CEO and vision, media scientist, strategist, copywriter (including for various Berlin Senate administrations) and mother with a degree from Vienna, home in Berlin and her heart in the right place.
Johannes Meissner
CEO and marketing, Creative Director, designer and copywriter in New York, Frankfurt, and Berlin, formerly for major brands such as AT&T, Allianz, Bayer, and Siemens, now for major causes.
Sebastian Wilke
Digital strategist, legal and finance and communications expert, onlinepioneer at Pixelpark, copywriter and strategist in Frankfurt, London, and Berlin, Senior Manager at KPMG, managing director and partner at glow.
Lukas Backhaus
